Welcome to Year 6

As SATs are around the corner, the children will be completing lots of reading comprehension activities – we will also be completing arithmetic and reasoning SATs papers.

The children will be able to take these home, can you please ensure you actively ask to see these papers and the children are rectifying their mistakes and practising the questions at home. This will help them a lot with their upcoming SATs.

The children will also be completing SPAG papers as well as spelling tests. Children will be working hard to ensure that they can spell all of the words from the Y5 and 6 spelling list. It would be helpful for you to test them at home aswell.
